Dr. Sendelbach graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. She completed her internship and residency at Botsford Hospital. Dr. Sendelbach also completed her gastroenterology fellowship at Botsford Hospital. Dr. Sendelbach is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology, she did her hepatology training at Henry Ford Hospital and her inflammatory bowel disease training in Wisconsin. Dr. Sendelbach has a special interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Liver Disease.
Dr. Macfarlane graduated from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She complete her internship and residency at Botsford Hospital. Dr. Sumnicht also completed her Gastroenterology Fellowship at Botsford Hospital. Dr. Sumnicht has a special interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease but treats all conditions related to gastroenterology.
Dr. Brushaber completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago and earned her medical degree from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences - Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed her Internal Medicine residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center, followed by Gastroenterology Fellowship training at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital. Dr. Brushaber is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by American Board of Internal Medicine. As a teenager, she emigrated with her family from Russia and is fluent in Russian language. She enjoys her work as an adult gastroenterologist and outside of work, she and her husband stay busy with their two young children.
Dr. Jolian Kathawa is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He grew up in Southeast Michigan and is married with two children. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University. He then obtained his D.O. degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at Ascension Macomb Hospital and was the Chief Fellow during his Gastroenterology training at Ascension Providence Hospital. Dr. Kathawa is able to treat within all fields of gastroenterology. He has a special interest in management of gastroesophageal reflux disease and chronic liver disease.
Dr. Grodman is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He was born and raised in West Bloomfied, graduating from Walled Lake Northern High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from Michgan State University and medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed both his residency and fellowship at Beaumont Hospital (Corewell Health) Farmington Hills, where he also served as Chief Fellow during his Gastroenterology fellowship under South Oakland Gastroenterology physicians. Dr. Grodman is skilled in treating a wide range of gastroenterological conditions, with a special interest in managing celiac disease and gastroesophageal reflux disease. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, watching and playing sports, and traveling.
